No matter what, Boise State will still be shut out of the CFP again this year because the Power Five conferences want to hog all the glory for themselves. It is way past time to get rid of all those creaky, outdated bowls and introduce a real playoff tournament format—sixteen teams determined by the average of the final AP and ESPN/USA Today polls played in four rounds at the four Saturdays after the Army/Navy Game. If we had this format Boise State would be in it for sure.
How is it that Div 3 has a real playoff system when Div 1 can not figure out how to do it?No idea why I asked when I already know the answer $$$$$$$which the NCAA gets its share of $$$ and the schools that go to the bowl games get $$ and the bowl game itself gets $$$$$But the players? They get nothing-I do wonder how so many college BB and Football players not only manage to rent apartments off campus, but are also driving expensive SUVs around.(gas, insurance alone cost $$$)
Don’t need 16 teams when 8 will do. Each of the Power 5 champions plus three at-larges (including one mid-major champ and no more than one extra team from any conference).

Yeah, 16 might do it, anything less and a team that lost to Air Force ain’t getting in. Hmm, better make it 32.

If Western Michigan University doesn’t get a decent bowl game, it’s all BS.

Just turn it over to ABC/DIS/ESPN/SEC.
Make it official.
