I hardly imagine the first Thanksgiving dinner being like that.
No question…. again… from Tony …
at least not yet.
I have one for Tony…….
So where are the kids?
OK, I guess maybe at the kid’s table….
I hated having to sit at the kid’s table…. didn’t you?
I do love sweet potatoes, though…
even though it’s true:
They’re neither sweet nor potatoes.
In fact, that’s what I’m bringing to Thanksgiving dinner this year.
BTW… I used to call them “yams” but now we’re told they’re all actually “sweet potatoes”,
and “yams” are something else.
And the “pumpkin” in those Libby’s cans isn’t actually pumpkin, either….
it’s a kind of squash.
Sigh…. I can’t keep up.
Oh…. and Templo….
Of course it doesn’t look like the first Thanksgiving…..
The first Pilgrim is saying the cornbread is dry “this year”
… so he’s obviously been to a previous Thanksgiving… or several.
Where are the kids? Hector, I can hardly keep up with the grandkids. At least the great-grands stay put.
Meh!!!
I still sit at the kid’s table.
I don’t know how friendly the first Thanksgiving was, but it’s going to be better than the one I’m expecting this week. We have die hard Tea Partiers and equally die hard liberals. I plan to carve the turkey in the kitchen and hide the knives.
I’m going upstairs now and fix me some Spam and eggs for lunch…
Without the Indians, Wampanoags, they would have had very little to eat.
Crikeys, I forgot about the Great Divide. Maybe “H” people in the kitchen and the “T” people in the dining room?
Or NO Talking Politics?……….nah that won’t work.
BTW: Tony asked it again.
