It will now be a war on all the Earth’s ecosystems. BTW: coal jobs went to mechanization, and mountain top removal, and increased profits went to CEO’s , even the one who killed miners who Trump now wants to make Seceretary of Commerce.

Seriously Henry, you actually believe there’s a war on coal by Obama?

And all the mining jobs are going to return?

But there’s no such thing as a Republican war on women.

Or climate change.

You can’t sell what people don’t want.

After Trump eases the rules that hinder coal companies from making a profit, the miners will all be dead or hacking up their blackened lungs in a hospice and we won’t have to retrain them like Hillary proposed.

What war on coal? The Democratic leadership only really gave token support for renewable energies. They were almost in the pocket of fossil fuel as the Republicans are. It’s one of the reasons why progressives failed to vote for Hillary.

Nobody is going to dig coal that can’t be sold. That thing about the market making decisions that conservatives talk about is actually real. The reason coal companies go bankrupt is that nobody wants their product any more.

It is always smart to end something that is still fairly well used, isn’t it.

Buh-bye, war on coal!

The Koch’s will be happy. They can give even more bribe money to even more greedy republicans now.

Wasn’t it the other candidate who said she would close all the coal mines and but the coal miners out of a job?

Payne is on a “winning streak” – again, he is wrong ! 1. President-Elect Trump did not win a mandate! 2. He is ignorant about the economics of electrical generation in this country.

Yup the coal industry sure did win over the rights of people to breath clean air and drink clean water. Don’t forget to thank a Republican today for destroying our planet.

Wonder if your going think burning coal is ok when the average temperature becomes above100 degrees and Miami and Manhattan are underwater due to global warming.

Bye Bye USA as a world power. China is sitting on a hundred times the coal reserves of the US, yet their busy building the Solar and Wind farms of the future along with massive energy storage facilities.
