It’s a GMO tree – not natural. While the wood available from the tree is superior to the non-GMO wood, the unintended consequence (not tested for in the safety trials) is the root system is much smaller and less effective.

Darn fine print.

Wow, according to the comments here, only 1 in 7 people knew what this mornings strip was talking about.Btw, I didn’t have a clue either so make that 1 in 8.

Insurance: a necessary evil.

Took me a moment…

I had a tree that split in half and fell across the road. The other half was aimed at my house. I called my insurance company and asked if it was covered to remove the rest of the tree. She said no, and since I know it’s a hazard, now if it falls on the house, I wouldn’t be covered. I said “Don’t you know who I am?” and she said ‘no’ and I said GOOD! and hung up!

Should have gone organic….

GMO’s are nature, manipulated artificially in ways that cannot be natural. In ways you could never do without technical aid. It is an inexact science, the outcomes haven’t been examined long enough to find any hidden unexpected side effects.

That’s what you get for playing God. Of course, if only God can make a tree, then this is clearly one of his acts.
