“The people’s work” she says. Like Dean writing to J.J. Abrams and George Lucas, maybe Heart should write to the Walt Disney Company to see if they could make Walter’s birthday a national school-free holiday.

Gee, Heart- you should be thankful at the teacher’s selection of literature for book report! I’ve had much worse.

Fans, please email letter@globe.com and tell the Boston Globe to reinstate Heart of the City, which they have cancelled as of Monday. They’ve been forced to change course before on these decisions …make yourselves heard.
