    This was also the cartoon for 11/16/2016 – with a couple of slight differences (“History Test Today” was written in the corner of the blackboard, angle of our POV was different in each panel).

    This kid reminds me of me. I used to give the most outlandish answers; but they moved me on along with the other flotsam and jetsam, and kicked me out of H.S. with a diploma.

    It was a HARDing question, and the poor kid was in a HAYS. How can you get MADison when he GRANTs you such a COOLidge answer? At least he didn’t FILLMORE space by beating around the BUSH. His response was a perfect TRUMP.

    Hover’s sounds better than Al Smith’s, referring to his stand in favor of repealing Prohibition.
