Maybe a video game isn’t the BEST way to spend money on his kid, but it doesn’t hurt to be a little extravagant from time to time. Where he is really wasting money though is buying those scratch off lottery tickets. How many hundreds of dollars has he spent on those just to win a few bucks here and there? he could be investing that money into a college fund for Gil instead.
