I like both holiday lights. Such a negative lady today.

Is this the woman (forgot her name) Janis met on a walk? (Did she almost run into Janis? Also almost forgot about that.)

I agree with her (if this is supposed to be Janis). Halloween is so gory and negative. Nothing cheerful about Halloween decorations at all.

I find the macabre cheerful to me.

Our neighbor has lights that switch between white and multi-colored. As for our Halloween decorations, we put up loads of pretty lighted things and most have nothing to do with Halloween. That seems to be even scarier because people think we must be up to something.

I don’t have any, but others do Xmas effects and put them up. Lovely. Wish I had giant spiders and gruesome snowmen I’d do so. And a Santa on a broomstick too if I could! Or his flying hearse pulled by 8 terror-dogs from Ghost Busters (1984)

Amen to that! I don’t think anyone can call Halloween decorations “pretty and cheerful” no matter how much you twist those words.
