I wonder if Hobbes realizes he is being used as a pawn in Susie’s game?

Poor Calvin. He’s an afterthought.

“You can bring that stupid kid you hang around with if you must.” Haha! I love it!

Well, that solves another (small) mystery.

Maybe Hobbes can bring Calvin as a plus one.

I censored the word “party” the last few strips?! How very spoiler-alert cautious of me!

I enjoy this story arc and all, but it seems somewhat ironic/hypocritical for Susie to refer to Calvin as a “stupid kid” hot on the heels of another story arc where he had to apologize for calling her a “boogerbrain.”

Because we all know that Hobbes becomes a stuffed toy when there are people around.

I love the panels where you can only see the top half of Calvin’s face with just his eyes peeking above the bottom. Similar panel two days ago.
