We have a wonderful letter carrier. She has struck up a friendship with our dog, Bear. She is our relief carrier, so she doesn’t come every day, but when she does, she always leaves milk bones in the mailbox for Bear!
I can see where they might eliminate Saturday delivery, but not all home deliveries. As stated above, many package carriers are utilizing the USPS for the final leg of the journey. There are some people who still don’t have email for one reason or another, so I can only communicate with them by phone or snail mail.
