well, Earl, you tried miserably

There are some groups that think we should be that way.

M: No it ISN’T! Argument is an intellectual process. Contradiction is just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says.

O: It is NOT!

My wife believes that the world would be a much better place, if everyone would just agree with her.

We would be so compliant that we’d all enjoy being told what makes us happy.

A simple “Yes dear.” would have gotten the same result. Probably.
