Boy: Frazz! I just saw one of those driverless cars! Frazz: Really? What kind was it? Boy: It said Ford on the front and Fairmont on the back. It was pulling into the biscuit bucket buffet lot if you want to see it. Frazz: Are you sure that wasn't old Mr. Putterfield? Boy: You know, I thought those were some kind of sensor pods on top of the steering wheel, but they might have been knuckles.

Decades ago, when I was taking driver’s ed, my instructor warned me about 3 kinds of vehicles to be especially careful of:
(1) other student drivers
(2) U-Haul trucks (driven by people who aren’t used to vehicles that size)
(3) anything driven by somebody who has to look thru the steering wheel

With so many people out of work, why are we so keen on developing driverless cars?! If you don’t want to be bothered to drive the thing, then hire someone. I’m sure that would be cheaper anyway.
