Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Speak with any news copy editor for the talking heads, and theyâll tell you, that the vocabulary level of you evening news must not exceed a 7th grade level of comprehension.
.
" Big Words confuse the viewers ". I was told by a former network news chief, relatively recently.
.
Sadly, with the exception of the Opinion Page Contributors, ( Newspaper Columnist, in the old days ), the print media isnât far behind in simplistic writing.
.
The average American, it seems, has morphed into Homer SimpsonâŠDUH !
12-year-olds who majored in journalism and therefore know nothing about anything, except that they know that their livings depend on making things entertaining, introduced by dramatic music worthy of an action movie score, leaving you more ignorant than before, since you still know little, but now what little you know is incorrect.
We have a new anchor on Fox News in Portland, the last one was so badâŠ.at least she gave everyone something to talk about.
&nbso;
My daughter called her Greasy Hair, and she once wore a light blue tee shirt that revealed more than I wanted to see.
Â
The local Fox station has had some strange anchors. Once we had a new one from an affiliate in Detroit. First day she came on dressed in a tight white suit covered in rhinestones.
The rest of her outfits were better suited to a nightclub.
Clearly Detroit is far more sophisticated than Portland! LOL
Â
The anchor on NBC s=has been there as long as I can remember, and she NEVER ages! Iâm beginning to think she is a robot.

Ted, youâre being generous in your measure of their cognitive abilities. TV pundits look and sound good and thatâs it.

Theyâre not 12, but the longer you listen to them the more they convince you of it.
