People still believe whatever they want to believe, and cheerfully ignore the facts when they get in the way.

It’s nothing new to see folks who claim a news story they don’t like is all lies. What is new is the number of crazies who think they can threaten reporters for saying it.

He might get a visit from one of the Vegan spiders who emulate Santa Claus. I don’t think he would appreciate a man sized alien spider-being in the uniform of Santa walking through the wall to deposit presents. Santa kills’em on sight—-he is a ferocious arachnophobe.

Bob, if you really truly believe it no one can stop you. Think of Linus, Mary Antoinette, Lenin, never stopped believing either….

    “under-educated”

Education only reinforces or channels intelligence. I does not create it.

Crazy Horse was an ignorant savage who could not read or write. Custer was a well educated general who knew history and rhetoric. Crazy Horse united his fractious peoples, adapted to new condidtions and brillantly deployed his forces. Custer failed to take a proper reconnaissance, underestimated his enemy and divided his forces without proper communication. Custer was stupid. Crazy Horse was not.

    Cozmik Cowboy

What does that have to do with anything? I read Bonhoffer in seminary (and quite a few times since).

And send those whites back to Europe and leave us Americans alone. We have enough troubles without outside help.

Wiley’s cats are as entertaining and the result of observation, as his bears, except we have less to fear from bears than some of our cats!

The “Crazy Horse – Custer” argument is a lot like Trump/Putin, Trump being the actual crazy one, while Putin can plan effectively. Actually, the comparison to “Old Yellow Hair”, his ego, incompetence, failures, vanity, and line of BS to the public and Congress/the POTUS, IS reincarnate in Trump! Think on that and fear for us, because prayer hasn’t worked.

In witnessing these times there seems to be nothing more dangerous than ‘willful ignorance.’ That is, being stupid on purpose, while trying to make stupid seem smart.

    Not

    sure I

ever really believed in Santa Clause, perhaps it was all those different Santas in the different stores and such, but since the adults liked playing the part, who was I to argue? Presents! :D

    I

    do find

it interesting that those that believe in God and the Devil don’t seem to be able to tell them apart. Or perhaps the Devil is their God That might be the part I’m not getting?

Theycertainly don’t seem to like Jesus’ ideas; anti organized religion, loves peace and people. Making him quite tolerant of their flaws, helping those less fortunate, feeding the hungry. Even though he worked for a living he still helped those less fortunate and never complained if they weren’t working.

He helped everyone, even the rich. He tried to get them to see that their flaw of greed, as a flaw and nothing to be proud of.

Nope, too many people professing to be Christians, they don’t seem to care for Jesus or his ideas very much at all. Too inconvenient in their belief that Greed is good. Nope, they have joined with their Devil, but need to maintain the illusion of believing in Jesus for their own belief in greed. Others are afraid, embarrassed and unwilling to admit it’s the Devil they prefer, Perhaps, even to themselves. Though, I’m not sure things will get better when they do finally admit that.

Of course, some have been duped by those others and just haven’t come to terms with that yet. In some ways they are the far worst. Good people made to do bad things, because they want to believe those telling them to do bad things are good, while ignoring the facts that don’t support that,

The few that really try to be good, well, they get drowned out in the news, because there

Sorry Wiley, I actually read the comments today.

Seems, I ran out of room, but I’m sure you all get the gist of where I was going… Basically, the bad have taken control, so they control how much actual good we get to see. Mostly, when it doesn’t interfere with their evil deeds.
