News from the Golf Coast, ten inches of snow in New Orleans! That would slow us down, but, it must have stopped them all togather. David wrote yesterday that they five inches of snow, worst in 138 years. The Florida Pan Handle got 8". No wonder somebody down there called for some plow jockeys to come down from the north.
Well, a whole lot going on, have the best you can everybody.
Over on the “Alley Oop” blog, a “new” strip posts 1/23 – “Wash Tubbs” with strips beginning 1/1/25. Tubbs is usually recognized as the first adventure strip, starting a few months before “Annie”. A bit rough at the beginning, the art and story improve greatly, making Roy Crane a model for a generation of future comic artists.
