Actually, I read your comment yesterday… I just thought it was too late to post back.

And yeah…. that’s what I do too.

I keep Notepad in my taskbar, with a text file (saved in UTF-8 instead of ascii), pinned to the jump list, so I can paste in random characters and symbols that catch my fancy, and open it quickly to use them.

Alt codes and HTML are faster than pasting, but only if you know them by heart…. I do use a few old alt codes all the time, like alt13 for ♪…

But ‽ is made in HTML with ‽ … like I’m gonna remember that.

I’m much better at remembering the ones that have meaningful letter codes as well, like © for ©.

So I confess… I could have used your symbol… but I probably left out just so I could say “interrobang”, cos I like that word.

Each President seems worse than the last.

Favorite: Teddy Roosevelt. Favorite in my life: Bill Clinton (8 years of peace & economic growth, continued progress on clean air & water regulation, plus the only balanced budget in my life. For those who don’t like Bill, what else is it you want from a president?)
