Excuse me, I have something in my eye.
Hobbs always reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit
Those of you who stayed away because the story was sad should feel ashamed. I love the ending of this story.
That’s the beauty of imaginary friends, they stick around as long as you want them and not any longer.
The raccoon attained freedom from the birth and death cycle
Tigers with kapok hearts life forever, not so little boys.
Don’t go anywhere!!!
How I love this comic. Thank you Bill Watterson for brightening my day!
Awww… grabs tissues
Why do they call it the life cycle? Why not the death cycle? The last legs could be called “Picking up speed toward death” and “Spiraling out of control towards death”
Are you kidding? With all this synthetic material, I’ll be around for your kid!
This is one (of the many) reasons why I love this comic. Thanks.
When I grow too old to dream,
I’ll have you to remember.
Your love will live in my heart….

This book has everything Mom, Dad and Calvin need to know.
Hobbes already knows this. ;)
Mom is pretty smart.
I never had such friends. Just the occasional human.
This strip is getting kinda depressing.
But nice.

This arc will never grow old.
“Life” is a terminal condition.
I found myself coming back to this particular comic when a friend of mine passed away a couple of years ago.
Cartoon like this one only comes once in life time
