Transcript:
Girl: Horace Greeley writes "Go West" and he's part of the American persona. I say the same thing to some dude trying to find Huntington Woods and nothing changes. OR MAYBE ME JBL SOULE Frazz: Except you actually helped a real fellow human being right in front of you. Girl: Well, there's a one-in-four chance I did.

Yea, that’s like the old “and maybe you’ll find someone there who knows the way”-joke.

There’s an extra, wee joke on the cover of her book…..
just a heads up … don’t want to spoil it…

Yeah, Greeley said “Go west, young man,” and then promptly headed back east because he himself didn’t like it out west.

Very interesting research about someone I hadn’t heard of. JBL Soule came from my home state of Maine. Reading about him shed light on my state’s history. This strip has often drawn criticism, but it often makes you think, and sometimes learn something. Kudos to Jef Mallett for giving a homework assignment, and he didn’t even need Mrs. Olsen.

I heard that Dudley Warner wrote “Go west, young man, and grow with the country.” Greeley just published it. I am surprised Frazz didn’t catch it.

Huntington Wood is way south from where Frazz lives.
