Squirrel Nut Zippers??? My favorite are lemon drops with lemon juice in the center. And Root Beer Barrels.

On a trip up the Hudson to Poughkeepsie, our conductor spoke in a turn-of-the-century patter (previous century). It was charming.

Squirrel Nut Caramels (chocolate flavored) and Squirrel Nut Zippers (vanilla flavored) are chewy caramel candy mixed with peanuts. AND Squirrel Nut Zippers is a too band.

I’m surprised that Adam’s regular grocery store doesn’t have circus peanuts. There are always some in the candy section of the one where I live.
