Actually, a chain restaurant called Shari’s a few miles from here offers free pie with dinner on Wednesday nights….

and I love pie….

But I resist.

My own cooking is much better for me…. and for my wallet.

The best chain restaurant pie I have ever had is the Shoney’s strawberry pie. It was much better than my momma’s and hers was great.

BTW: Bruno Ziegerts is missing. We may have to use our typing fingers on his behalf soon.

I’ll bet it’s a whopper of a piece.

As I’ve said before, only French Canadian meat pie or Tourtiere. I won’t even look at any other kind of pie.

When it comes to pie I could never get the hang of fractions.
