I stopped buying new comic books when Carl Barks laid down his pen.

Are there STILL drugstores with a comic book rack? I haven’t seen one in about 20 years…

My wife and kids would drop me off at the book store, while they cruised the Mall!

How old is this strip? I think they stopped printing real comics decades ago.

    YES THERE ARE STILL COMICS!

What I never understand is the concept that only men like comic books – I grew up with them and still read them now and then (not much time for any reading beyond work related these days).

Both spouses should go along with the other as to the other’s interest. Husband takes me to Louisa May Alcott’s house. When they still had ones we could afford, I went with him to James Bond conventions. One should share with the other person – and have some knowledge of subjects the other is interested in – that is the idea of being married and being together. You don’t have to love – or particularly likes – what the other likes – just go along with them – not stand outside waiting for them to come out. Besides, if you help them pick out stuff – they finish much faster!
