@NIGHT-GAUNT49 GC INSIDER ABOUT 6 HOURS AGOI thought that was reserved for JHVH or Jehovah.
Absolutely true, which is why it is so very significant that Jesus took that name for himself publicly on several occasions as recorded in the New Testament. In the context of His times, and the society in which He lived, it would have been considered blasphemy – unless, as we Christians believe – it is true!
If it happens that the person Tracy want to arrest is the Am, he really needs backup. Whether they are impostors or not, the bodyguard and Am are big and tall men.
Part of what made Am a great character in Little Orphan Annie was the mystery surrounding him. I object to any development in the story that seeks to definitely explain any of his unikely longevity or his mysterious powers. Once he is explained in any detail whatsoever, the mystery surrounding him is either eroded or gone.
Now I see why M&J say this is going to last for several months. The final month will be explaining everything. And that is going to be quite a feat! I think we, the readers and posters, are the April Fools. Mike & Joe cruise through throwing out landmines like they throw candy from a Mardi Gras float and then WE tiptoe through them. Every time one of us hears a fuse click, they wiggle out!
So the (this) Am has his personal Hindo-Egyptian giant bodyguard (uhh, why, if Am is so omnipotent?). And Am is greeting Tracy and the Spirit in words that can be construed to mean he has not met them previously. Was there, indeed, as some suggest, a second “Am,” a big imposter with large hands (all the better to strangle you with, my dear!), intercepting Tracy and the Spirit upon their arrival at the Hotel Siam?
On the whole, such a scenario seems to me to be improbable. But that leaves me still grasping at straws for a viable suspect, although Tracy seems to have someone in his sights, someone that necessitates his (and the Spirit’s) meeting with the Mighty Am.

So Am wasn’t the person who met with Tracy and Spirit on January 1!!!
And that guy in the turban looks a lot like Punjab.

Welcome to our humble abode
Where boredom rules like an illegal chokehold
We’re very polite and try to please
But like a flirt we’ll play and tease
Question at will we’ll answer of course
But don’t expect Ed the great talking horse
The real mystery is not the story that’s read
But why am I typing and not asleep on my bed

Vigil at our dog Biscuit’s side. Looks like this is it. He’s almost 18 so no complaints but it still hurts to lose him. I’ll keep everyone updated.

Leapin’ lizards! Don’t Tracy and The Spirit remove their hats when indoors and especially when in the presence of Mr. Am?

This does not look like Punjab. We are being introduced to a new character, by the look of it.

Wouldn’t it be a little awkward for him to introduce himself?“I am Am”.(Perhaps it depends on what your definition of am is.)

Just expect more new things that take Tracy and The Spirit to follow as to who is the really killer and why.
