I’d like to know where you are that it is warm right now. We are freezing our asses off and just when we were starting to dig out from under the ton of snow we got dumped on us.
NO, no it’s not. Historically it has been both much warmer then today (and there were no cars and far fewer people too) and much colder. Of the two warmer is better for all of us. We advance as a society when it is warm, see the Roman Empire for an early example. Cold periods are periods of decline, shorter life expectancy and less artistic and scientific advancements. Ice core samples show this very clearly. And the Satellite data for the temps of the last decade are well below the bottom of the predicted temp range forecasted by the warmers. To many of the ground sites are cited in areas that are now heat islands, i.e. big city parking lots.
I remember the good ol’ days when Denialists insisted climate change was a liberal fantasy. Then they admitted its existence in the face of overwhelming scientific consensus, but denied humans could possibly be a factor. Now Americans have dumbed themselves down to the point that scientific consensus doesn’t matter (FAKE NEWS!!), so good ol’ days are back! It’s the bliss of ignorance!!

It’s just the usual inter-glacial period.
The Earth was very cold, so it got very dry.
Because it got very dry, it will now get very warm.
When it gets very warm, it will get very wet.
When it gets very wet, it will have much better cooling capacity, and get very cold.
You know how natural cycles are, scary and uncomfortable.
The Earth is not dying. Its ability to support life is not ending.
In two thousand years, the deserts will be turning to grasslands and woods.
In fifteen thousand years, we will be in another ice age.
In five hundred years, people will laugh at the ignorance of the twenty-first century.
