better get ready, Earl, to go to the store to get new curtains

I think it’s curtains for Earl.

This looks like one of Ray Barone’s schemes to feign incompetence and get out of work (Remember Everybody Loves Raymond?)

The final curtain may have just dropped on Earl. Or an even worse fate: Opal decides to make her own curtains and he has to go with her to the fabric store.

Vacuuming is not an activity for old men.

If you really want to help out Earl, ask her what she needs done. If you don’t know how to do it, she will be happy to show her. But don’t cop that male attitude of not letting a woman tell you what to do.

Between flooding his daughter’s yard & ruining the curtains, it might be more helpful if Earl just stayed on his chair.

So true, Fishdog93. Earl has been quite a disaster lately.
