If Obama had let somebody with no experience in intelligence (never mind Bannon’s insane views) sit as one of the National Security advisors, the outcry from Republicans could’ve drowned out the sound of Putin bombing Syrian civilians!

Bannon has made it to the inside, he is no longer an outside force, he has the power to deconstruct the state from the inside, but as all anarchist who get close to the heart of the machine, he will not smash it, he will use it for what he wants and become part of the swamp.

Bannon is the opposite of an anarchist. He’s an authoritarian who has found a vehicle for his vision in Donald Trump.

Grover Norquist was a self-proclaimed anarchist and the GOP had no trouble signing a pledge to him. He wanted the size of government reduced to the point it could be “drowned in a bathtub.” The US Attorneys, the EPA, the State Department, the IRS, HUD, what else can they drown…. blub ooo, blub ooo, blub oooooooo. A rising swamp lifts all yachts….

I still want to know how this person got a clearance to allow him to sit in (much less run) national security councils.

In January 2016, for instance, Bannon was quoted by the Washington Post‘s referring to him as “virulently anti-establishment”:

“We call ourselves ‘the Fight Club.’ You don’t come to us for warm and fuzzy,” said Stephen Bannon, Breitbart’s executive chairman and one of its guiding editorial spirits. He adds, “We think of ourselves as virulently anti-establishment, particularly ‘anti-’ the permanent political class. We say Paul Ryan was grown in a petri dish at the Heritage Foundation.”In 2013, Bannon said that he didn’t believe that the United States had a functional conservative party:

“We don’t believe there is a functional conservative party in this country and we certainly don’t think the Republican Party is that,” he told a gathering of conservatives in Washington, D.C. “It’s going to be an insurgent, center-right populist movement that is virulently anti-establishment, and it’s going to continue to hammer this city, both the progressive left and the institutional Republican Party.”

And this is why Trump is appointing neophytes to cabinet positions. (A guy with a degree in animal husbandry running the Department of Energy?)

I wonder how many ways Putin would be able to exploit the results of a deconstructed U.S. government?

Bannon and Norquist aren’t Anarchists. They are Libertarians, the Anarchists of the right. Anarchists, the Libertarians of the left, want government out of the lives of individuals. Libertarians, the Anarchists of the left, want government out of the “free” market. Anarchists accept the need for government to protect individuals from the dysfunctions of the market and and moral issues. Libertarians want the “free” market to provide all services the government provides now. Libertarians, in essence, want the market to replace the government. Libertarians recognize no moral issues as being involved with governing. Both the Anarchist dream and the Libertarian dream would result in a dictatorship of some form, within a relativity short amount of time. “..freedom is not lost when the state is too strong but when it is too weak.” – Francis Fukuyama

Any dealings the Trump admin has with Russia will be highly scrutinized.
