Use your brain John. Get two limber cane poles; lash them together with string so it will be long enough to reach the shoes. affix a lighted kitchen match to the end, then see if you can burn through the shoe lace. You’d better alert Ellie to be ready to call 911, quickly!

I was in a park the other day and there was a tree full of sneakers…pairs of them, just hanging there. Does anyone know the significance of this? All it does is make me think that some families can’t afford shoes.
