    That’s even sadder. What once was believable menace has deteriorated into sheer annoyance. Somehow a dog that has been reduced via breeding to where it resembles a noisy bottle-washer with legs just doesn’t stir the spirit.

    You mean thousands of generations of genetic modification through selective breeding. Humans basically forcing evolution of wolves into desired subspecies from Chihuahua to Leonberger.
