The duality of man has always been a subject ripe for debate. The duality of half man half animal has also been the subject of many a lengthy discussion here in the forums. Certain Wolves cannot deny their wild nature, neither can Walt, no matter how much he tries to suppress it. We’ve all seen the fragile balance between man and animal shattered again and again. Considering the trauma, the attrition, the paranoia, and the threat of topsiders, coupled with the apocalypse. Endtown is one big PTSD ward about to boil over. The semblance of daily life seems to be the best therapy for most. Keep Calm and Carry On does work to a degree, but the old enemies of prejudice and suspicion are twisted into a sick new way.If you think about it rationally, who stays fat during armageddon? really? I mean, Food is rationed, and when food is rationed people tend to lose weight. a lot of weight. Those who are food obsessed will find away to skirt the rules, hoarding, theft, bartering and begging all happen. We are used to 3 meals a day and we can get it in our heads that it is a right to continue as before like the world never ended.Forget guns and bullets, food and toilet paper are more valuable than gold. And those who have the most, have power of those who do not.Blaming the pigs for being well… Pigs is ludicrous. There is no evidence that the animals our characters mutated into had no bearing on job, diet, place in society, etc. This is a completely random effect of the Amesworth Radiation. Now granted, some if not many have used or benefited in some fashion from their animal attributes. But to “scapegoat” (forgive the pun) pigs ans chronic overeaters is just an excuse to eat the “problem”.Honestly, if I had gone 10 years without bacon, and the rule of law has broken down. I don’t really know how far i would go for a rasher or two.
What Walt fails to understand that in a combat/crisis situation like the one he was in, one person is going to the morgue and the other is going to live to fight another day. The only question is…which person will it be? Walt did what he had to do in order to live to fight another day, horrible though it may seem.
I think that if we aren’t all wiped out by a nuke, we may see our neighbors acting normal for about 1 hour. After that it will all break down to who has a gun, who has secure house. How much does survival demand?I would like to think that I would give whatever I had to my kids and grandkids, But I’ve never been truly hungry, not knowing where or if I would get a meal. At my age, I hope I would be OK with enough to drink to stave off thirst, and figure I’ve lived my life. Never had been tested with starvation. and the savageness of others.

Why is she so small? I’ve seen adult female pigs and she should be as large as the bear, if not bigger.

Sometimes, there are situations where any level of thinking is over-thinking.
