Hmmm, not sure what’s going on in panel three — that small brown and tan thing next to Elvis’ ears. Could it, just maybe, be a graham cracker with a bit of chocolate on it, to which The Man is planning to add a toasted marshmellow? Or is it just something in The Man’s pocket?
Our guys would array themselves in front of the wood stove in order fur length, short to long. Our youngest at the time, Toby, would actually sleep under the stove.
This reminds me a little of “the little man in the tv” and how Elvis emphathised with him. Elvis’s faces of dismay were similar. I hope we see that one soon.
