How does this café even pay for dishes and ingredients for the entrées?

Radio Hack operated as a non-profit for decades.

I think their business model may be flawed.

Rat’s Charity is the “Me, Myself, & I Foundation”.

“This is a nonprofit organization—we didn’t plan it that way, it just happened”

I’ll bet Rat is skimming any profits.

Maybe that’s why they don’t make a profit. They give it all to Charity down at Madame Mary’s House of Fun.

No profit, no taxes!

If you do want to make a profit, step one is not to hire Rat. If they’d talked to his former coffee shop boss (Joe’s Roastery wasn’t it?) they wouldn’t have made that mistake.

Although come to think of it, maybe his former boss would have given him a great recommendation just to sabotage the competition.

I have nothing against charities but sometimes I wonder if the money is really going there…

I hope you are getting paid regularly, Rat. Otherwise, your “not for profit” is a waste of your precious time that could be better spent drinking beer and bashing Cartoon-Boy….

The “No Profit for You” cafe!

Imagine if there really was a cafe like that.

We have a not-for-profit grocer down the street. It operates by donations and jacks up the prices worse than a convenience store.
