I never liked monopoly since it isn’t what we should want. I always suspected some plutocrat didn’t like the way Theodor Roosevelt fought against their “natural” inclination to monopolize for real. The game was revenge and a teaching tool too.
Monopoly was actually invented to demonstrate that land ownership always leads to massive economic inequality.
It was invented by a woman name Lizzie Magie. Most people today would call her a socialist, although she was actually a Henry Georgeist. She called it “The Landlord’s Game,” and it was intended to make that political and economic point.
The Henry George Foundation needs to write the rules for the game so it isn’t just snatch all you can and “win” when it isn’t a win for the rest of them.

I like a healthy balance of indoor and outdoor activities. Both Monopoly and ponds are fun

I hate it when they change a lot of stuff and still call it by the original name. Get some imagination

Anyone who enjoys walking in the shallows really hates it when people throw rocks in the water.

Easiest way to improve Monopoly… actually read the rules and stop using all the ‘house’ rules. That’s what makes the game drag on for so long.

Dude, what’s the beef with Monopoly? Still more fun than any organized “sport.”
