It appears that something else is ‘elevating’ him.

Arthur should be careful leaving his mouth open like that. There are some Balladeers who would consider creating a scenario where something might drop into it.

Arthur is an old hippie, and he don’t know what to do.Should he hang on to the old or grab on to the new.

Ethel would be out there with him, but she’s found a fine spread of dandelions to lay down in. She’s mad sure she put a few flowers in her hair.

I believe, Arthur has been sampling a little too much, of Toklas Alice’s medicinal herbs, down at the Happy Hookah

I have it on good authority that what really happened is: Arthur was climbing up to his “platform” when he slipped and his medallion (made of silver plated lead) flew up and hit him on his nose. Now anyone who went to school with him knows he has a glass nose. He only lasted 7 minutes in a school yard fight.

This was witnessed by Mrs. Higgenpooder who just "happened’ to be glancing out the window.

Rose, thanks for the inside info. But he does seem pretty happy there.
