If I were Peter’s or his pal’s parents, I’d be woken up by the smell of the microwave burrito. Mmmmmm… beef and beans with a bit of cheese. (Sorry. Channeled my inner Homer Simpson there for a moment.)

Compared to other things 16-year-olds could be doing at 1 AM, I’d say this is pretty harmless.

They are not Hispanic and eating burritos? They are misappropriating ethnic something or other. As I understand it, only Hispanics can eat them.

The TV set was bought by: Roger.

The house has a mortgage which is being paid off by: Roger.

The TV is powered by electricity and the bills are paid by: Roger.

Peter is a dependent of his parents. If his dad says no TV at 0100 hours, that means no TV.

Reminds me of a cartoon in MAD done by Sergio Aragones, who often did cartoons without dialogue.

First Panel: A man is leaving for work while his grown son is still asleep.

Second Panel: The man returns home from work, and looks in annoyance as his son is schumpily sitting in front of the TV while several empty beer cans are strewn about.

Third Panel: The man’s annoyance turns to anger as the son and his girlfriend are partying in the middle of the night, playing loud music while the father is trying to get some rest.

Fourth Panel: The father is taking his son to the local recruiting office of the US Army.

Boys your rude your dad has to work and needs sleep.

That’s okay son I am going to call his parents to pick him up and you will be getting up early ever weekend to work for me to pay it off.

A teenage boy that doesn’t have a TV in his bedroom? No way.

Why would anyone WANT to eat a uwave burrito (I ask as I finish mine for lunch)?

Better be more than one bathroom available when those burritos are looking to exit.

One word: run.
