For the record, you are flogging a dead horse. Reggie Smythe died about twenty years ago. He created Andy Capp. For many years others have been continuing the strip. You can see their credits in the panel. Please leave Smythe out of it.

That is a little worrying. Have you been to see the doctor about your weight loss? I’m overweight for my height but I’m in good health. So I really don’t see a problem. Get it checked out.
My day was very nice, I never go out anywhere on Sunday. Saturdays? Sometimes. Either at my Auntie’s or Newcastle now but Sundays are for staying in the house.

The first two panels are known as drop panels. Not every newspaper that publishes Sunday Funnies make room for all the panels, some are built in to be eliminated for spacing reasons on the printed page.

Where have you been? Smythe died in 1998. Mahoney, Goldsmith & Garnett are the current authors now.
