Score – commercial – kickoff – commercial; and people claim baseball is slow??? Give me college or high school football ANY day over the No Fun League!
17 minutes? Are they kidding?
The actual time the ball is in play in an average NFL game is between 6.5 and 7 minutes.
60 minutes in duration? Hah!
More like 3-3.5 hours.
Don’t go to a nationally televised college game, then. Through the courtesy of my son, who has season tickets, I was able to attend the USC-Alabama game, and the commercial time-outs completely ruined the flow of the action. (Maybe Saban could use that as an excuse, except that they are ALWAYS on TV.)
At one time (maybe you still can), you could rent radio headsets at USC games, so that you could listen to local radio coverage of the game you were watching live.
why anyone would pay to go to an NFL game is beyond me unless it’s just an excuse to eat and drink. Could do that at home cheaper. Last pro game I saw was a Raiders game. Had to park a mile away, take a shuttle bus to the park and walk and walk and walk to get to my seat. No thanks.
