An enterprising cat did that to a friend of mine, once. She perched on top of the piano, quietly surveying the family dinner. At just the right moment, she leapt to the table, grabbed a piece of meat, and continued her nonstop flight into the rear of the house. They were so taken by the smoothness of the operation that they let her get away with it.
