I’m not a complete sociopath, therefore: Yes.

I do my very best (well; almost. ;-))

But some people just can’t be contented; I’ve given up on them.

It just makes me sad and mad.

Well, in some ways.

Do I care whether people like me?

Not all the people all the time, cos that’s impossible.

I don’t care what people think of me. Is that the right answer? I can change it.

Not at all. There are few people who’s opinions I value.

Only about people that really matter to me.

I try to be pleasant and likeable. As Susan said, you can’t please all of the people all of the time.
