I don’t much care for most cartoons made today, but I hope Roy’s catching a brodcast of early 20th century cartoons. Bea, you mentioned watching American programs back in the 90s, are you also a fan of American cartoons from the 1930-50s? You know things from Disney or Warner Bros, I heard even back when the cartoons were new they were popular in Germany and underwent less editing than even when they aired in Canada and the UK, the only one they ever really banned was Disney’s “The Barnyard Battle” a ban which would be lifted after the end of the Weimar Republic, leaving even the physical exam scene intact. Although I know certain cartoons pertianing to WW2 are banned under German law, assuming the law still stands.
It speaks ill of Roy that on top of interrupting cuddle time, he is bored by the fabulous Casablanca (1942). If Bogart, Bergman, Rains, Lorre and Greenstreet don’t capture his imagination there really is no hope. Time to eject the unwanted house guest.
Well, if you’d seen “Casablanca” in its original run, there would have been a cartoon. Possibly “A Tale of Two Kitties,” if the info I’ve read is right.

Don’t worry about CGI, you have a Cousin Growing Irritated already!

Quite a few recognized the movie as “Casablanca,” it seems.

Almost didn’t notice, but even Sam is losing his trademark patience, he works with Roy every night you’d think Sam would be used to him by now.

Looked like it was the end anyways.

NEVER, Casablanca is one of those movies no filmaker must touch.

It’s a nice day – why don’t you go play outside… maybe in traffic…

Actually, a good title for this arc would be “Home Not-So-Alone.”

The worst part is, this is Labour Day. An extended weekend. With Roy…

It’s moments like this that really make me wonder…
It was a shotgun wedding. Who was the shotgun really pointed at?

I love Sedine’s face in the last frame. She appears ready to explode! Sam is ready too. I hope they tie him up and put him a closet.

I also have a relative that lays claim to the TV controller when he comes for a visit. So annoying especially since all he does is channel surf.

I have heard it said there are three things that spoil after three days - eggs, fish, and company -
looks like Roy here is spoiled after three seconds!
