Where does it say you have to be a kid to have fun? Now that back flip with a twist might be a different storie.

You have to grow old, but you don’t have to grow up.

And not care what other people think.

My husband did that at a friend’s pool on the 4th of July. I hadn’t thought he did things like that, but he was showing off for our (female) friends. BTW, all of us are in our 60’s.

Sooner or later even a kid realizes that doing a cannonball with your glasses on may be painful.

I knew my dad had been a swimmer as a child, but I had never seen him swim. Always working two jobs he never took us to the lake and we never had a pool. In his seventies, he was visiting a sister who had a 6-foot pool n their back yard for their two boys. Imagine my surprise when she snapped a pix of him DIVING from the edge safely taking a lap around the whole pool! She said it was an amazing sight to see!

When old man play like young boy, old man may suffer the next day.
