For those who do not understand the comic, I fear I might. This comic shows the writer has big balls for daring to suggest that complaints about appropriation of other cultures is silly nonsense. For which I (ever the rebel) totally agree.

Claiming appropriation, the latest lefty fad.

Should Afro Canadians or Americans be offended that Caucasians enjoy jazz, or the Twist, or the myriad other things that have been “appropriated” from Black culture? Without the Black influence North American culture would be MUCH the poorer.

If it ain’t obvious right away, it FAILS as a comic strip. I say the cartoonists should be tarred and feathered. By someone else, of course.
