Slightly off topic, but what would explain the guy who “shared” his “organ recital” because of lack of empathy. Those who have never experienced Real Below the Poverty line- poverty have No Idea want it is like. The wealthy don’t have even one clue, the middle class, may think they do, in terms of “can’t afford to eat out this month” or “can’t go to the movies again”, but have no idea what it is like to be threatened to be evicted because you reported a violation to the health dept., being too poor to see a dr. for serious health problems, making $1.36 too much to be on Medicaid, Having to live in a studio apartment with bedbugs and being 1 step away from being homeless. This is not me, I am poor enough to receive Medicaid and sec 8 housing. I’m 70 and was on disability, but when I was healthy I worked part time-minimum wage jobs, often 2 at the same time, so get very little SS. I had kids and put being there for them was high priority. When I was young it was questionable “whether it was OK for mothers to work” but times changed a lot. This IS what is reality for a friend and countless Others who fall through the cracks.
Why does the government penalize poor people who want to get married??
I could also tell about someone who’s common law husband was an undocumented worker who worked a place NO One else would have worked.

My favorite semi-sarcastic expression ( frequently use, i might add ) is: " Thank you for sharing. "

The guy on the left looks exactly like Hugo Weaving when he meets clandestinely with the detective in V for Vendetta.
