Today’s strip is a little ripe for innuendo.

Ted used to be a heavy cruiser,

back in his one-day shore leave days.

Edwina changed all that….

and really, he doesn’t regret it.

He was always more of a dreamer than a commander…

so “Yes dear” is no worse than “Yes sir” .

… and comes with much better benefits.

If it were so heavy, I doubt he could rest it on his lap.
