The Kentzleries better watch out! Wayne’s Trojan Horse is just big enough for him and his Rottweiler Brutus.

Kramer Kentzlerie got all up in Wayne’s business for letting Brutus “water” his prized Peonies. Killed ’em dead he did!

Wayne got his feelings hurt, Brutus is his Pride and Joy!

Sheesh, that beast weighs 200lbs easy and Wayne always forgets the “doggie doo” bag. Heck, the whole neighborhood is hopping mad . And the Ballard Hardware and Ice Cream Parlor has run out of shovels!

Wayne’s creation looks a lot like a Butterfield…

Very nice work, Wayne.

Horse building and riding are very popular pastimes on Ballard St.

There are people playing horsey in costumes, whether home made or purchased…

StelBel can hardly keep horse costumes in stock at the costume annex…

and there are dozens and dozens of wooden horses.

But Wayne’s horse stands out for its artistry.

Of course most of the horse builders try to make them artistic….

But still… wooden horse riding is not considered unusual,

I saw one of her horses .. they’re wonderful!

They do start out as scrap and found wood …

but after assembly, the life size wooden models are cast in bronze,

Good thing Homer was blind.

He’s done a bang-up job.

Very nice.

Wayne has been spending way too much time dumpster diving.

With Wayne, horses are a hobby.

When Kramer K komes out with his matches though it will only be to give the creation a name…And Wayne runs calling Wildfire!!!!!

Its made from Alleywood, a not so rare form of wood mostly found in suburban and urban settings. Most often around industrial or retail areas.

The client, i am told, is excited. She, apparently, doesn’t get out much.

I always wonder where Van Amerongen gets his ideas because he REALLY cracks me up. Today, I must say that the horse is actually a work of art on his part.
