As I used to advise my co-workers – "Stop complaining about the Boss; the next one will be worse! In my part of AT&T, we went from bosses that knew more about the equipment than we did, to ‘college graduates’ that had problems figuring out the ‘paperwork’! Most ‘modern’ companies are run by managers that have no clue what their ‘product is, but they all have absorbed the philosophy of "If you have a manager with “x” amount of knowledge making “y” amount of salary, then you should be able to ’make do’ with a manager with “x-1” knowledge and pay that manager “y-1” salary. Eventually, you end up with a Trump who supposedly "self-financed his campaign!
