If it were a funny illustrated book, then you’d say its smell is comical.

If it were Science Fiction, the smell would be out of this world.

If it were a gardening book it might smell earthy.

Old books smell strange. Browsing though second hand book stores isn’t something I want to do very often.

The smell of a romantic novel is pheromonal.

I think it’s the stink of the ink.

It’s a mystery to me !

SERIOUSLY……… I think it’s time to turn the page.

Remember the smell of the National Geographic?

Inhaling the smell of books is better than inhaling some other things…

My own fault I didn’t do it myself, though… LOL….

 

Opal said yesterday it was a NEW book, so it wouldn’t have that musty old book smell…

It would smell of paper, ink, glue, and whatever it’s bound in.

Used books, of course, can smell anywhere in between.

The National Geographic and some other magazines had a lot of clay in the paper coating, to make it glossy and sturdy, so you can smell that too.

 

I love the smell of all of them, unless they’re really moldy.

And stationery, school supplies, crayons and most markers.

Ok, yeah, I know….. the first step is admitting you have a problem….

So … fiction, then?

Boy, there is a story somewhere in all of this.
