To raise a valid distinction:What few Obama “effigies” or the like existed (and yes, they existed) were created by “nobodies” and “losers” and publicized FAR out of proportion to their actual relevance and impact by critics online looking to tarnish all Republicans as “racist.” Proof: Can someone name or identify, without looking it up, exactly who supposedly perpetrated such images and where? No, you can’t.Kathy Griffin, as much as she played her “D-List” shtick, is a Hollywood celebrity, the kind of person that should NEVER have even attempted to get away with such crudeness no matter how much they may disagree with the president in question.
YOU MORON CARTOONISTS! Unless you’re planning to go 100% political, DO NOT INJECT POLITICS INTO THE STRIP! Doing so is not clever. But it is a sign of laziness and bad judgement, regardless of what party and what politics you think you’re lampooning. Aren’t you smart enough to be a funny as you usually are without venturing into divisive subject matter? FYI, this is my second warning. One more dose of politics and you have lost a customer (reader). Think about it: lose enough customers and the “store” closes for good. That’s not very funny, is it?
