Ah! I see that Ms Crepe uses the same language as my spouse. Like Myrtle Crepe, my wife brings home and plants these monsters and then says “Don’t worry, WE’LL keep them trimmed.” Turns out I’m the only mouse in her pocket.
I also didn’t know that “We” is a singular pronoun.
I would have said that those vines were just Ballard Brambles, but, after just spending a day hacking away with a machete, at the vines and creepers that had taken over a couple of lots we own, here in Ecuador, I’d say they’re ubiquitous.

Looks like my yard this summer. I just haven’t been able to find/make a yard work day.
Working six days a week will do bad things to ones scheduling ones of personal time.
