On Sunday when food shopping I saw Halloween greeting cards in my local supermarket. Also a Halloween store is already opened in one of the mini malls in my area.
It’s not unusual for Halloween stuff to be out before Labor Day. Christmas things are out before Halloween, Easter things are out by January…Guess you get the drift.
The “Holiday” aisle is just that. What are they supposed to put there? If they put “regular” merchandise there when it’s not a holiday season, where are they supposed to put that stuff when a holiday comes? So when one holiday is over, the stuff for the next holiday goes in its place, no matter how far away it is. Just the way it works.

Buy it now, you’ve eaten it yourself by Halloween, and then you have to buy more.

Not for nothing, but:
1. Supermarkets provide directories to help you find what you need quickly; and
2. All the aisles have signs that tell you what’s in ’em.

I knew the holidays were coming, but I’ve had a lot going on here (Cataract surgery in both eyes) so it was a minor shock to see the Halloween candy.
