    When you think about it, you can’t get a ticket for speeding. Unless you are at rest, you have some speed. The ticket is for exceeding the speed limit, but as Einstein told us, there are no privileged frames of reference. You could be stationary and the road is moving past you at 85 mph. We’re all traveling at about 1,700 mph as the Earth rotates and the sun is speeding around the Galaxy even faster and the galaxy is in a headlong rush to collide with the Andromeda Galaxy. But try telling that to a judge.

    On the autobahn, speeds are posted in mach, not kph.
