Ten Cats by Graham Harrop for August 23, 2017

Well, canned cat food is always wanted.

My cats are crazy over the leftover grilled fish from this summer’s BBQ. They like all the rubs and sauces! Salmon, halibut, opah, whatever. I am getting a reputation in cat circles as a cook.

Personally, I think Jack has the right idea. Trying to use the can opener might be a problem though.

When I checked my Facebook posts this morning I saw that Happy x3 said that I didn’t post yesterday. I know that I posted several videos and ten pictures so I came here and saw that they were taken down. I haven’t been banned so I sent the following email to the Gocomics powers-that-be:

 

All but one comment/post on Ten Cats on August 22nd disappeared. Can you tell me why? They were not inflammatory in nature. There is a troll on there who recently started posting there and he objects to me posting there. I have been posting there for years and the others in our “community” including Graham Harrop, appreciate my posts. Did he get you to take my posts down by flagging them?

I got a response back from the powers-that-be: my request has been “closed”. Hmmmm

I guess everyone better look at the videos and pictures right away. I, too, wondered why there was nothing yesterday.

X_TECH – those posters are really cute and so appropriate for today’s comic. I enjoyed them.

If Jack is that hungry, he should feast on some of those mousies.

Craig is progressing as well as can be expected with no big setbacks. Still in ICU. He really wants me to go home to see his little jack russell and to rest up but I am so exhausted I don’t think I can face the drive today. Tough sleeping in a chair at my age!

Ok. After one hour, all my posts have disappeared. It’s been fun.

you people are completely clueless – you were offered an easy way to remedy a bad situation (putting all the links in one comment, instead of spamming) and you instead chose to pile on the person who’d politely offered the suggestion and go back to doing the same stupid crap that you’ve been doing all along. this site is not your personal property and asking you to respect other participants is not being “PC,” it’s simple common sense. which y’all seem to lack…

and you were, because your earlier comments today, and all your previous posts, were invisible when I checked a few hours ago.

Then I lost my internet connection for a while, and just got back to CoComics….

Don’t use the “contact us” link… that’s customer service, and will delay action.

If they say your request is “closed” or “solved”, it’s because they’ve only just passed it to the moderators… so it’s out of their hands.

BTW, Mods have said that they DON’T read forum requests, or pay attention to names or pleas attached to avatars.

Being rude or critical doesn’t make them want to help you.

They’re NOT autonomous, nor did they write the rules that often dictate their choices..

they may have to argue our cases with their own supervisors.

 

IMPORTANT: Right now, comments from banned posters still appear on their Profile pages, though they’re invisible in the forums where they make them.

So if you post in forums you think they still read, check their profile pages for responses.

With no visible comments or avatars to click, you may have to Google them…

but here is Bbear’s … which hopefully you won’t need again, but it never hurts to keep your friends bookmarked.

Can anyone give directions on how to see bbear’s photos and videos on facebook? I cannot seem to find but three. Thanks to any who can help me.

It just figures! The trolls are probably rejoicing. At least I can still see Bbear’s posts on FB.

At least I have one bit of happy news today. Finally, two months after our car accident, Mark is finally back home. He got home at around 7:00 tonight. They had considered keeping him a couple more days, but the insurance ran out and would not cover any more time in the nursing home. So Mark is free at last. Oddly, though, they are letting him drive, but are not letting him go back to work yet. He really wants to go back to work, but for now, he’s very happy to be back home. I bet his cat.Midnight, was glad to see him tonight too!

Great pictures today. :) I just wish they’d let BBear post HIS pictures. :(
